My Story

The name Smooth Wave comes from two things dear to my heart, the beach and making "smooth" videos. I grew up in South Florida, studied at Clarks Summit University, and currently work at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio as the Director of Media Ministries. During my time at Clarks Summit University, I started picking up an interest in multimedia production and wanted to combine that with my love of athletics. I served there as the Director of Athletic Communication for three years before moving to Toledo with my wife. I wanted to continue to be around athletics so I started my company, Smooth Wave, in October of 2022 and started producing content in an official capacity in the city of Toledo and the surrounding area.

I specifically want to make an impact for the high school programs in my area by using my talents to promote their athletic programs. I believe high school to be an extremely important time in the life of an athlete and oftentimes, they are neglected and suffer because of it. I have read statistics that roughly 99% of parents struggle to help get their kids recruited. I believe that Smooth Wave, in conjunction with local schools, can aid in the publicization of these kids and help them get noticed by NCAA schools. Furthermore, I believe these programs should have a light shed on them as well. They have incredible athletes with elite-level skills and should be shown off to the community in which they reside. My goal is to help these schools maximize their impact in the digital world by providing content on their website and social media channels that raise their athletic's programs to new heights.
